Hi there!
My name is Thiu, and I am currently a researcher in World Christianity at the University of Edinburgh.
My PhD research in World Christianity looks at lived Christianity among Tribal/Indigenous Baptists in Manipur, India. It is interdisciplinary, combining social scientific with theological methods. It explores questions of continuity and social change and indigenous lifeworlds in light of socio-political issues among Tribal uplands in Northeast India.
Beside my academic research, I am involved in other responsibilities and projects. I serve in pastoral ministry in Edinburgh, host two podcasts (VoicesWC & The Contemplative Tribal), tutor in the university, teach theology & Christianity, and run a network with other scholars working in similar areas of intersection.
